Flower Nr. 281

Queen of Elves!
Abbreviations used (US terms):
Col - colour :)
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
dc2tog - double crochet 2 together (forms a cluster)
dc3tog - double crochet 3 together (forms a cluster)
fpdc - front post double crochet
htr - half treble crochet
tr - treble crochet
sl st - slip stitch
ch sp - chain space

Flying ch – ch in the beginning of a round, unattached to previous round ;)

Queen of Elves pattern:

Round 1: Col A.
Magic ring, ch 2, dc (counts as first cluster). *Ch 2, dc2tog* repeat from * to * 6 more times. Ch 2, sl st in top of first cluster. Fasten off.
(8 clusters, 8 ch 2 spaces)

Round 2: Col B.
Flying ch, ch 2. * Dc3tog in ch sp, ch 3* repeat from * to * 6 more times. Dc3tog in last ch sp, sl st in first ch of the round. Fasten off.
(8 clusters, 8 ch 3 spaces) 

Round 3: Col C. 
* Sc, hdc, dc, htr, tr, ch4, sc in ch sp * repeat from * to * 7 more times. Sl st in first sc. Fasten off. 
(8 petals) 




Round 4: Col D.
Standing *fpdc over 2nd round cluster, ch 4 * repeat 7 more times. Sl st in first fpdc. Fasten off.
(8 fpdc, 8 ch 4 spaces)
(Ch4 spaces of this round should be left in background of petals from previous round)

 


Round 5: Col B.
*Sc in fpdc of previous round. Ch 5. Sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next st, dc in next 2 sts. Sc in middle of ch 4sp of round 4. Ch 5. Sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next st, dc in next 2 sts.*
Repeat from * to * 7 more times. Sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
