What happens on the rug - stays on the rug :D

Me and sometimes my kids exercise on my yoga mat - ScrappyRug :)
I document my exercises on instagram acount UnderTheChandeleir ;) I hope this will help me to exercise daily because crazy enough - endomondo doesn't really make me want to exercise more, I use it just to log my workouts ... :) (i think instagram will work better on inspiring me on my daily yoga because I love to express myself and of course I like the likes too ;D )

I did actually just take a two day break after a month of exercising every day and today I started again because I missed it! more than I am willing to admit...

Here are few of my most favorite pics yet, but I hope there are many more to come :)

Happy body - happy soul! ;)

p.s. I used to hate working out because my kids wouldn't let me alone - now I like that they join in and "crash" my poses or do them with me .. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!

Autumny* cowl

* just because of the colors and I'm planning to wear it on winter and spring too :)

The best thing about the autumn is its colors, but they end way too quickly, and then we are left in the darkness for quite a while just waiting for the bright white snow. To prolong the colors and the joy I made a fast cowl (took me just 2 evenings).

You want to know how my Autumny cowl began?

Shopping list..

Good morning :)

Today my kids pushed me out of bed at 6 am .. apparently the bed is not big enough for the four of us .. now I am stuck in the corner watching them sleep just to make sure those little cute monsters doesn't fall off ... I kinda wish we were still sleeping on the mattress in the middle of a room (like 2 years ago) not on our beautiful bed (witch was handmade by my hubby) because then I could make coffee or sleep in this very corner not worrying about the kids falling off the bed ...

But there is a bright side to this - I have FREE time to DO stuff on my mac (which is quite rare).

I have wanted to share my shopping list on the fridge for a while even made the pictures of it a week ago.

In general, it is not a new idea, I think most of you do this or something like this.
The thing that makes it special is using the receipt from previous shopping as a space to draft the next shopping list.
I used to cut a strips of paper out of old notebooks etc but this is SO much easier! :)

simple and effective! :)

+ I make a shopping list for the BIG shopping of the week although I do buy milk and other small things more than once a week. So I will never run out of receipts! :D

The scarf of string theory :)

I was recently introduced with the knitting doll and thought I wold make a scarf ... but as I was making it I figured that with my speed this scarf project would take as much time and energy than to crochet a baby blanket.. the scarf I had in my mind would have been a great one tho, but with all the other projects "in the loose" I wanted something that could be done fast :)
So my first attempt on the scarf of string theory evolved in a sort of bracelet slash hand-warmer :)

But I wasn't going to give up!
Next day I thought that if I just took a thicker yarn and found or made a bigger doll as well.. wasn't at all thrilled about prospect of making a knitting doll... I have to admit I was a bit winy for a while so a little birdie told me that it could be done without a knitting doll!!! probably faster too.. with 3 hoops and 2 knitting needles...
- wanna know how?
- keep reeding ;)

Fast Fancy Scarf

I am making Christmas presents - the scarf you see in picture is for my cousin, I have already made one for myself and I will make one for my mom too :)
If you like this scarf - keep reading!
(sorry for bad picture .. me and my Iphone, well we had some misunderstandings today)

And here it comes - my first "tutorial" for a scarf :)

1st step
you have to buy a special kind of yarn .. more like a tread-lace.
This one is 100% Acrylic. Clew weights 50g and yarn is about 18m (you will probably need two)
