Have you made one of these gorgeous flowers? all these patterns are free and there are SO many gorgeous flowers out there ! trust me ;) and make some - even if you only make them for your 4yearolddoughter so she can play and loose most of them in an instant :D
I'm tight crocheter so I'm using DK weight
yarn and size 4 hook.
Abbrevations used (US terms):
ch - chain stitch
sl st - slip stitch
sc – single srochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
tr - trebble crochet
Flower pattern:
Round 1: Col A. Magic ring. Ch 4
(counts as tr), 19 tr in magic circle. Sl st in first tr. Fasten off.
(20 sts: 20 tr)
Round 2: Col B. Join new color making a
standing sc in between any tr's. *Ch 1, sc in between next tr's *
repeat 18 more times. Ch 1, sl st in top of first sc. Do Not cut
yarn. (40 sts: 20ch, 20 sc)
Round 3: ch1 (counts as sc). * Hdc, ch
1, dc, ch 1, tr, ch 1, dc, ch 1, hdc in next sc. Sc in next sc. *
Repeat from * to * 9 more times (in last repeat replace sc with sl
sl). Fasten off. (100 sts: 40 ch, 10 sc, 20 hdc, 20 dc, 10 tr)
