Flower Nr. 285

Last flower I designed for #365daysofcrochetflowers was actually my first full mandala design (available on @thecrochethookop as well as free download on ravelry) and as I had somehow forgotten to share it here when it was released last November .. so here it comes now! :)

Enjoy!

Abbreviations used (US terms):

Col - color :)
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
long sc – sc over 2 or more previous rows creating a spike
fpsc – front post single crochet
bpsc – back post single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
fpdc – front post double crochet
bpdc – back post double crochet
dc2tog - double crochet 2 together (if made in one st or ch sp forms a cluster)
dc3tog - double crochet 3 together (if made in one st or ch sp forms a cluster)
dc5tog - double crochet 5 together (if made in one st or ch sp forms a cluster)

Popcorn - make 5dc, drop the loop from hook, insert hook in first of 5dc’s, pull dropped loop through.

I've used Batik Design ALIZE bella yarn.
And as I am tight crocheter I've used 3.5 mm hook.

At this point you DO have a gorgeous mandala in your hands and just enough yarn to attach it to the hoop if you wanted to :)

On instagram I would LOVE to see YOUR mandala under the tags #FlowerMandala & #365daysofcrochetflowers as well as #BB_mandala where all my mandalas live ;)
Or in ravelry projects!

Happy crafting!
P.S. round by round pictures available only @thecrochethookop page for this one because sometimes there's just not enough daylight to achieve everything I want to :)
