Letter of the week: K



lets just get to it - you start with an I ;)


1st part (pattern for I):
Row 1: Ch5, on the third (and fourth) chain dc2tog, dc. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 2, on same (and next) st dc2tog, dc. Turn.
Repeat second row 9 times.
Fasten off.
(part 1 consists of 11 rows)

2nd part to form K! Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 4, sc on 2nd ch from hook, hdc, dc. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 2, on same (and next) st dc2tog, dc. Turn.
Repeat second row 4 times.
Row 7: pull yarn through space between 5th & 6th rows of first part (aka I). Hdc, dc, htr.
Row 8: Ch 3, (work on htr of previous row) dc2tog, dc. Turn.
Row 9: Ch 2, on same (and next) st dc2tog, dc. Turn.
Repeat 9th row 3 times.
Fasten off.
(part 2 consists of 12 rows)
(overall letter K consists of 23 rows)
