Flower Nr. 209

Here comes my double whirl flower ..


Abbreviations used (US terms):
Col - colour :)
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
bphdc - back post half double crochet
dc - double crochet
fpdc - front post double crochet
bpdc - back post double crochet
tr - treble crochet
bptr - back post treble crochet
sl st - slip stitch
ch sp - chain space
If not stated otherwise first stitch of the row is a standing one.

Pattern:
Round 1: Col A.
Magic ring, ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1). * dc in magic ring, ch * Repeat from * to * 6 more times. Sl st in top of first dc.
Fasten off. Don't tighten magic ring.

8 ch, 8 dc)



Round 2: Col B.
* 2 dc in previous rows dc. Tr in magic ring. *
Repeat from * to * 7 more times. Sl st in first dc. Fasten off. 

(16 dc, 8tr)


Round 3: Col C.
* Sc in between dc's of previous round. Ch 2. 5 fpdc around tr.* Repeat from * to * 7 more times. Sl st in first sc. Fasten off.

8 sc, 16 ch, 40 fpdc)



Round 4: Col D.
* 3dc in ch2 space from 3rd round.
Dc in next 2 sts from 2nd round (
behind 5 fpdc of round 3). Bpdc around sc from 3rd round.*
Repeat from * to * 7 more times. Sl st in first dc. Fasten off. 

(8 bpdc, 40 dc)



Round 5: Col A.
* 3 bptr around first dc from dc's worked in ch 2sp.
3 bptr around next st. 2 bpdc, bphdc around next st.
Dc in ch 2 space from 3rd round. *
Repeat from * to * 7 more times. Sl st in first bptr. Fasten off. 

(8 bphdc, 8 dc, 16 bpdc, 48 bptr)
