I'm tight crocheter using DK weight
yarn and size 4 hook.
Col - colour :)
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
st - stitch
bl - back loop
fl - front loop
Flying ch - chain in the beginning of round, unattached to previous round ;)
Flower pattern:
Round 1, Col A:
Magic ring, ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc in magic ring. Sl st in first dc. Fasten off.
(12 dc)
Round 2, Col B:
Join in any dc.
*Ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch. Skip one st from previous round, sl st in next..* (One petal made, 5 more to go)
Repeat from * to * 5 more times. Fasten off.
(6 petals: 24 ch, 6 sc, 6 hdc, 6 dc, 6 sl st)
Round 3, Col C:
Flying *ch, fold one petal. Sc in bl of first free dc from 1st round (the ones we skipped making 2nd round). Further we work around next petal on 2nd round. 2dc in next 3 sts, 3dc in st at top of petal, 2dc in next 3sts. Sl st in fl of next free dc from 1st round, ch 1*
Repeat from * to * 5more times. Sl st in first ch made. Fasten off.
(12 ch, 6 sc, 6 sl st, 90 dc)
Tip: each time you fold the petal that you have just made, except first time when you fold any of the round 2 petals.
